Privacy Policy

SayAlarm is built so that your reminders stay yours. The short version: we don’t collect any of your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your iPhone

Your alarms, their messages, voice recordings you make, the spoken audio generated for each alarm, and your alarm history are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app, or using Settings › Delete all data inside SayAlarm, removes them.

Speech recognition

When you speak a plan, SayAlarm uses Apple’s Speech framework to turn your voice into text. On devices that support it, recognition happens entirely on your iPhone. On older devices, audio may be processed by Apple to provide the transcription, under Apple’s Privacy Policy. SayAlarm itself never stores or sends this audio anywhere.

Microphone

The microphone is used only while you are speaking a plan or recording a personal alarm message, and only after you grant permission.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details or personal information from Apple about you.

Widgets

Widgets show your next alarms using information shared between the app and its widgets on your device. Alarms in private mode are shown only as “Reminder”.

Health information

If you create medication reminders, that information stays on your device. SayAlarm is a reminder utility, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. It should not be relied on for emergencies.

Children

SayAlarm does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
